Long rides on gorgeous trails for Beginner & Intermediate Riders.

The Intermediate ride will trot and canter! This is one of the *only* opportunities in the Bay Area to get an energetic ride.

The Beginner ride will introduce new riders to the forgiving and gentle motion of these gaited horses.

Come and enjoy riding our incredibly smooth gaited horses through some of the most beautiful terrain in the Santa Cruz Mountains and on the Central Coast. We'll take you on trails that wind through the redwoods and open up to beautiful golden fields, stopping for a light picnic at an overlook with 180-degree views of the Monterey Bay.

Come experience gaited horses - they move in a way that is very comfortable for all riders. Even the novice rider can be comfortable at a faster pace due to the glide ride that these horses offer. You'll see a unique variety of gaited horses: Tennessee Walkers, Kentucky Mountain Horses, Peruvian Paso's, and Paso Fino's (feel free to make a request!).

This ride caters to all levels, from beginners who have never been on a horse to advanced riders that are looking for a fun adventure!

	Half-Day Trail Ride for Beginners & Intermediates You'll be on beautifully trained gaited horses; they’ve been bred over generations to have a very smooth walking gait and it’s a completely different riding experience. This is your chance to enjoy this unique breed, ocean views and a full 3-hour outing on varied trails. These guided rides begin with a ½ hour orientation to acquaint you with your horse and the local trails.

	Q:How do I schedule a Private Outing? A:Just email a date (or dates) you'd like. We can make almost anytime work. Privates are the SAME PRICE as regular rides, and available for 2-8 riders. Q:Can kids ride? A:Yes, for Privates, kids must be 7 years or older. For the regular rides, teenagers who are experienced riders can join the Intermediates. Q:Am I an Intermediate? A:You'll be ready for the Intermediate ride if you've taken some lessons and ridden more than 5 times.
