This 1-day Introduction is for complete beginners; it's taught for students who have never been on a motorbike - of any kind.
If you're an experienced motorcycle rider, you'll still have a great day of learning new skills for a dirt course and the handling of a dirtbike;
but this program will cover all of the basics, for everyone.
We'll teach you everything, top to bottom: gloves & helmet, gear overview, stretching, safety inspections, mounting, posture and controls.
You learn starting the bike, managing gears, controlling speed, then weight management for turning, obstacles and tight configurations. In the afternoon, we'll do course exercises and finish with more info on bike types, dealerships and how-to-continue.
"When I first started teaching, I wanted everyone in the class to reach a certain level by the end of the day. Now - after all these years - I feel that it's more important that they reach "their best level" and that they have a great day - and they do. Everyone does in our class."
Rob Rickert, instructor
