Yes, it does make a difference how you align your feet, hips and shoulders behind the
cue!
Learn the basics of proper shooting, setup and table strategy from Lisa D’Atri.
She's a great instructor, a very fun person and an experienced competitor. You will
definitely play better the next time you're at the table!
Getting your pool groove takes time - so you'll want lots of Friday night practice sessions after this class. (also handy for showing off.)
Basic Fundamentals
You'll learn the proper techniques for
bridge, stance, grip and stroke. You’ll see how follow through affects your game and
learn mental strategies to maintain your focus.
In the second session, you'll learn to predict and follow through on cue ball accuracy by practicing follow, draw and stop shots.
We do our classes at Broken Rack in Emeryville. 1 BART stop from SF, it's the "home club" of our pro...and a good place for a chicken caesar before your class.
You'll be in groups of four to a table, so grab a few friends and learn in your own private Idaho.
